MSSQL, is the windows version of MYSQL, the disadvantage is you cannot take advantage of PHP, however for a localnet it is best for use with .net as you have access to the many activex controls, these are not much used on the web as people do not trust them on thier computers, they can be malicious.

    Hello,

SQL Server is usually a bit advanced for the average user, it doesn’t hold your hand like Microsoft Access does. People who are going to use SQL Server should have a decent understanding of the SQL coding language.
